expand this text Q) You say my company is listed in the guide but I can’t find an entry?

A) Remember, results are not in alphabetical order. They are randomized to make the guides free entries fair to all (this does not apply to premium listings).

If you don’t know the section you are in use the search facility – but beware! – spelling has to match exactly. This means, if your company name starts with initials, have you included or excluded any spaces? In case of difficulty ring us to recheck the listing.

expand this text Q) I am not sure about the status of an advertiser as compared to another supplier. Can you help me decide?

A) No. We at Handy Shipping Guide remain completely neutral in such matters. We try to bring you an accurate picture of all advertisers by vetting them as best we can and including their accreditations. We request the trade organizations they use in this way to in turn examine the entries to ensure continuing membership. If any advertiser is found to make false claims they are liable to suspension from the guide.

expand this text Q) We have several offices. Why is only one listed? Can I have all of them included in the guide?

A) Yes. Your free ad only includes a single office. There is a small charge to add extra offices or your overseas offices or agents. Have you considered raising your profile with an advertising package?

expand this text Q) We have several areas of operation but only appear once. Can we be listed in more than one category.

A) Yes. Contact us.

expand this text Q) I was not happy with the quality of information on the guide when I tried to use it. What is it best to do now?

A) Use the contact details on the home page to make your point or enquiry. We are constantly updating and improving all sections to keep things accurate and up to date.

A) Certainly. If we feel there should be a valid category to include you we will add one free of charge.
