Change At The Top For Greatwide Logistics US 3PL Company  

CEO Greer Quits after Four Years

US – Greatwide Logistics, the non asset based third party logistics and truck management outfit, have replaced Raymond B Greer with Leo Suggs as Chief Executive Officer as announced today. Greer, formerly head of small parcel specialist Newgistics and previously with FedEx and Ryder began with Greatwide in 2004. Mr Greer resigned his position.

Replacement Leo Suggs is current Chairman of Greatwide and joined the company last year. He also numbers a Ryder group company amongst his previous employers and also Yellow Freight. Greatwide acquired the assets of the Dedicated Contract Carriage division of YRC Worldwide subsidiary, YRC Logistics for around $34 million.

Mr Suggs thanked Mr Greer warmly for his efforts during a period of ownership change and during difficult market conditions. He continued:

"We have enjoyed the benefits of his leadership and his loyalty to the company and thank him for his contributions. We wish him the greatest success in his future endeavours."
