Martin Bencher Launches New Operation for Improved Services

SINGAPORE – DENMARK - Martin Bencher, a name known in UK freight forwarding circles since 1881 and now run from its head office in Scandinavia, has announced launching a new South East Asian venture, under the name MB Projects Pte Ltd, to centralise and concentrate its project cargo, heavy lift and break bulk shipments in the region.

Mr Peter Thorsoe Jensen, CEO of Martin Bencher Group said in a statement.

“Singapore is an important hub for us and with own office we can improve the quality of our services in the area and by opening new branch office, it be easier for us to penetrate the local market“

The new operation will cover a wide variety of services including door to door transportation with inland trucking, transportation by barge, customs clearance for both project and general cargo. It will be managed by Ms. Rose Bui, a company staff member since 2007. She will be supported by project cargo specialist Mr. André Cali.

The new office adds to the current Martin Bencher network which stretches throughout China, India, North America and Europe in addition to South East Asia.
