Port Group Multimodal And Container Expert To Head Humber CILT

Logistics and Transport Group Pick New Chairman

UK – The Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport (CILT) who have featured regularly in our pages, principally as sponsors of Transaid, have appointed a new Chairman of their Humber Division. Kim Catterick, who is PD Ports Business Development Manager for Container Shipping will serve as Humber CILT’s chairman for the next two years.

Mrs Catterick has been closely involved with PD Ports’ recent success with ASDA and the Logical Link service, helping to forge new business links and strengthening the relationship between the port operator and its existing customers at its Teesport and Hull facilities.

Before joining PD Ports, Mrs Catterick spent 27 years with the multi-modal container operator Samskip (formerly Geest) where she gained specialised knowledge in operations and business development. She also has an NVQ Level 4 in Management.
