Trailer Hire and Sales Specialist Offers New Road Haulage Options

With a Redesigned Website and a Driver Friendly App TIP Upgrades its Services
Shipping News Feature

EUROPE – One of the most recognisable names on the European road haulage scene, trailer hire and sales specialist TIP Trailer Services, recently announced the launch of its new customer friendly website. The site has been significantly redesigned and now incorporates a brighter display, user-friendly interface and is now available in English, French, German and Dutch. The homepage welcomes visitors with easy to follow menu options and is strongly customer-oriented throughout, with a wide range of big names in the transport industry sharing their experiences of TIP's products and services. Customers will also find a regularly featured ‘Deal of the week’, with a variety of offers ranging from trailer rental and services to used asset deals.

Another interesting feature on the homepage is the link to TIP's new app - TIP Roadside. This app is used by drivers to request breakdown assistance, using GPS to identify and send their location to TIP's Roadside agents. It also provides drivers with the opportunity to enter additional details into the app such as trailer number, truck registration and company name, facilitating faster response by the TIP Roadside team. Furthermore, the app also includes an innovative case status checker. Not only do drivers receive an ETA via text message, but they can now follow their case in real-time using the app. It also enables Planners to monitor the cases and later review the details and Fleet Managers can conveniently check the case details anywhere, anytime to see the performance of their fleet. Bob Fast, CEO of TIP Trailer Services said:

"I am very pleased with the functionality and smart design of the site. Each page provides the essential information that site visitors are really looking for. Furthermore, I am particularly pleased with the excellent selection of videos available on the site, making it overall more dynamic. These include service videos which give a comprehensive explanation of the full range of services on offer, as well as our customer videos where you hear customers' direct experiences on how TIP's solutions have impacted their business operations. I am also proud that we are leading the way forward in the transport industry with our new TIP Roadside app, which will certainly benefit our TIP Roadside Assistance customers. We are looking forward to developing further apps to provide our customers with even more value in the future."

The aims of the new website are to ensure customers have a clear overview of the extended services on offer by TIP, as well as to provide a platform through which site visitors can quickly and easily make contact with their local TIP representatives and log in to myIntelligence - TIP's online customer portal providing access to information, data, documentation and reporting on their fleet. TIP says the new website upholds the group’s mission to deliver superior rental, leasing and value-added services to its customers.
