US Container Shipping Group Expands Freight Presence Into Europe  

New Jersey LCL and FCL Specialist NVOCC Opens French Office

US – FRANCE – CaroTrans, an NVOCC and container shipping consolidator has today announced it is opening a hub office in Le Havre to add to its network of offices in Asia, South America, Oceania, and the United States. The move is primarily to support FCL and LCL exports from the states but with the intention of developing a French export trade and establishing container freight stations in Paris and Lyon.

CaroTrans believes that Le Havre will prove an important gateway in Europe for its services to and from points in the U.S., Asia, Middle East, South America and Canada and is a natural platform for freight moving to West Africa from these regions. Greg Howard, CaroTrans, Global CEO commented:

“We are committed to strengthening our presence in Europe with strategically placed branches in key markets. CaroTrans branches, along with our network of dedicated agent partners, position us to provide the highest level of stable and secure customer service and support.”

Mr Howard went on to confirm plans for the two new French locations were proceeding and said that just last month the company opened a new office in Seattle to serve global freight forwarders in the Pacific Northwest and established specialist teams for breakbulk, out of gauge and RoRo customers to service all fourteen of CaroTrans US office locations.
