US – Cakeboxx Technologies has announced the appointment of Michael Stolarczyk as the company’s new Senior Vice President – North America Sales. Stolarczyk joined Cakeboxx’s headquarters in McLean, Virginia, earlier this week, and brings with him more than three decades of global supply chain and logistics experience, which includes several key sales and management roles over a 17 year period at Maersk.

US – Patriot Rail and Ports has announced the appointment of Paul Tonsager as Chief Commercial Officer. Tonsager joins the company after a long career with CN Rail, where he most recently was responsible for US Business Development and Shortline engagement. He previously worked for Maersk and Crowley Maritime.

US – Tenneco has announced the appointment of Aleksandra Miziolek to its Board of Directors, effective immediately. The Company also announced that it appointed Miziolek and Roy Armes, who joined the Board on March 10, to its Nominating and Governance Committee effective April 1.

CANADA – Navarik has announced the appointment of Richard Halldearn as its new Chief Executive Officer. Since 2017, Halldearn has been the company’s Chief Technology Officer.

DENMARK – AP Møller – Mærsk has proposed Blythe Masters for election as a new member of the Board of Directors. Masters is currently industry Partner at Motive Partners (New York) a specialty FinTech private equity and venture capital firm.

NETHERLANDS – Joop Roijakkers has been promoted to VP Rental at ICTS after heading the Netherlands' operation for more than 10 years. Marc Van Wezenberg, Client Relations in the Netherlands, will succeed Roijakkers as Country Manager.

UK – At its recent AGM, the UK Chamber of Shipping named John Denholm as its new President to succeed Sir Michael Bibby. Graham Westgrath, CEO of V.Group, will also become the Chamber’s Vice President.

UK – Victoria Beattie has joined the Port of Tyne as its new Head of Estates. In her new role, Beattie will be responsible for the Port’s land and property portfolio, working alongside both internal and external stakeholders.

UK – Survitec has announced the appointment of Ron Krisanda as Executive Chair for its worldwide life-saving equipment business. In this newly created role, he will lead both the Survitec Board of Directors and the Executive Management Team. He will be based out of the company’s London office.

CHINA – Lloyd’s Register (LR) has named Mark Derley as Marine & Offshore (M&O) Chief Operating Officer. Darley, who joined LR on graduation as a marine surveyor 20 years ago, is currently M&O President for North Asia and has held leadership positions in the UK, South Asia and the Americas. He will continue to be based out of Shanghai.
